Roseanne Scheduled for Surgery She's busy on the comeback trail with not one, but two new shows. Still, Roseanne Barr will have to take some time off to undergo a hysterectomy. After having a series of tests earlier this week, it was recommended that the 50-year-old actress should have the operation as soon as possible and allow up to two weeks for recovery. The exact nature of Roseanne's medical problem has not been released, but assistant (and second wife of Roseanne's first husband) Becky Pentland tells the AP, "It's not life-threatening or anything. She's a real healthy person, so we hope she won't be down very long."This summer ABC has been airing the reality show "The Real Roseanne Show," chronicling the TV personality's creation of a new cooking/variety/lifetstyle show. That project, "Domestic Goddess," is scheduled to premiere on ABC on Saturday, Sept. 20.
